Meetings
Meetings of the Chapter are held the 2nd Monday of the month at the
Carnation Tree Farm barn, on Hwy 203 in Carnation across from Tolt Middle School. These meetings
are open to the public.

Sno-Valley Tilth, a chapter of
Washington Tilth invites anyone who values local agriculture and the joys of
eating local farm products to join us at our monthly potluck and program
meeting.

Committees
Sno-Valley Tilth has several committees that are working to achieve our
goals and objectives for 2007/2008. If you would like to receive
notification of our classes and events or help one of the committees, fill
out the information request form below and we'll contact you!
The goal is to focus on EDUCATION and OUTREACH. Our objectives include the
following:
 | Establish a speakers bureau and create scripted
presentations on local/sustainable agriculture, soil, health, and
other Tilth-related
topics. |
 | Write stories and informational articles for
submittal to local newspapers and newsletters. |
 | Create a
calendar that will include professional photos of farms in the valley, recipes, information about the importance of local and
sustainable agriculture, and seasonal produce available from local
farms. This calendar will be a quality publication that will be sold as
a fundraiser for the
Chapter. |
 | Hold Spring classes on relevant topics. |
 | Celebrate local agriculture with a Harvest Dinner. |
 | Sponsor and manage the Carnation Farmers Market (visit
www.carnationfarmersmarket.org for more information) |
 | Conservation Preserving agricultural
land in the state is critically important to our mission.

for publications such as our brochure and directory, press releases,
